Job summary

Garage Clothing Co. is seeking a Store Manager for our Ontario locations. Reporting to the District Manager, you will lead a high-performing team, drive sales, and maintain exceptional customer service to create a positive shopping experience.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, optimize store operations, and ensure profitability while upholding our brand standards. Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business is an asset.
• 3–5 years of management experience, preferably in fashion retail.
• Customer-oriented with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfort with social media and mobile devices.

Job summary:

Reporting to the District Manager, your main focus as Store Manager is to promote a positive shopping experience and build loyal customer relationships. You produce outstanding business results by leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and excellent standards. You demonstrate great leadership through recruiting, training, and coaching your team members. You maximize the store’s profitability by achieving and surpassing sales and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
• Demonstrates solving skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office
• Is available to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs
