Job summary

RIMAP Hospitality is seeking a Garage Cleaner to maintain all parking garage levels, car ports, drop-off areas, and the hotel exterior to keep spaces welcoming, safe, and guest-ready. You’ll sweep, power wash, and vacuum floors, remove debris, and ensure exterior lighting and fixtures stay in top condition.

The role partners with housekeeping and front office to meet AC standards, requires flexibility for weekends/evenings, and values a proactive approach to safety and guest experience,

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience helpful but not required.
• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Familiarity with Marriott GXP a plus
• Bilingual (English/French) an asset
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for maintaining a welcoming, safe environment for guests and employees

Responsibilities

• Keep It Fresh: Clean and maintain all parking garage levels, car port, drop-off/pick-up areas, and hotel exterior—including city sidewalks, planters, and public entrances.
• Sweep, mop, power wash, and vacuum garage floors with consistent attention to detail.
• Pick up debris and remove litter from all exterior spaces, keeping everything sharp.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in exterior public areas and parking level lobbies as required.
• Clean stains, spills, signage, and exterior fixtures in and around the garage and car port.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior lighting, walls, doors, overhead pipes, and drainage gates.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff requests regarding exterior cleanliness or potential hazards.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure exterior spaces meet AC standards.
• Support special projects or additional tasks assigned by management.
• Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, damage, safety concerns) to the appropriate department for swift resolution.
• Clear snow, ice, leaves, and other debris from exterior walkways and entryways; apply grit/salt as necessary for safety.
• Maintain EV Charging stations with care and attention.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow safety and security procedures for working in the garage, on city sidewalks, and around vehicles.
• Adhere to all cleanliness standards, safety policies, and local regulations at all times.

The Garage Cleaner is an essential part of the AC Team - keeping our parking levels, exterior spaces, and guest arrival points looking fresh, safe, and inviting. You'll maintain all parking garage levels, car ports, drop-off areas, and the hotel exterior including sidewalks, planters, and public entrances with the same pride and energy we bring to everything else at AC. Your work sets the tone before guests even walk through our doors, so every detail matters.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Experience

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience helpful but not required.
