Job summary

Activision Blizzard's Treyarch in Vancouver, BC is seeking an IT Technician (Contractor) to join the team for a 12-month, on-site engagement staffed through Volt. The role focuses on end-user support, imaging PCs, AD, hardware, and networking in a fast-paced studio environment.

The candidate will troubleshoot Office 365, Windows, and related software, while collaborating with multiple teams to keep IT operations smooth and secure. A background in game studios is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience providing IT support.
• Familiarity with video game consoles.
• Previous video game studio experience is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in PC hardware and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting.
• Proficient understanding of networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support to staff remotely or on-site via Slack, email, or in person.
• Active Directory management and support.
• Workstation provisioning for new and existing users (imaging, software, and hardware deployment).
• Address remote and on-site hardware issues (printers, shared PCs, and video game consoles).
• Assist with software deployment and issues (Office 365, Zoom, Slack, Autodesk, and Adobe CC products).
• Assist with IT assets and inventory management.
