Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking a Casino Supervisor to oversee table activities on scheduled shifts in Ontario. You will mentor dealers, ensure top-tier service, manage game outcomes, and enforce AGCO regulations.

The role requires 1–2 years as a blackjack/baccarat dealer and supervisory experience, with flexibility for evenings/weekends and registration readiness. Join a dynamic team focused on safety, training, and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a blackjack/baccarat dealer for 1–2 years.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Roulette, poker and other casino games knowledge is an asset.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to obtain AGCO Category 1 Gaming Assistant registration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor dealers, providing instruction, assigning duties, and evaluating performance.
• Ensure excellence in customer service and collaborate with casino team.
• Monitor table floats and determine the outcomes and game irregularities.
• Stay on top of company policies and procedures, provincial and local regulations for casino operations.
• Participate in casino and marketing initiatives and promote events.
• Demonstrates exceptional public relations with customers.
• Maintains an open-door policy with all employees and communicates issues, concerns, and feedback.
• Resolves customer and table disputes, explains the rating system to guests, implements bankroll adjustments and observes assigned game activity to provide game security.
• Accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development.
• Exudes a strong presence on the gaming floor while managing team and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensures compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.

The Position

• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
