Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP is seeking an Hourly Amusement Host in Winnipeg to engage guests with exciting, high-energy service and expert knowledge of gaming experiences. You will operate major attractions, upsell games, and maintain clean, fully operational stations while assisting with restocking.

The role emphasizes a friendly, social atmosphere, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred
• Must be at least the age of majority
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Provincial alcohol handler/server certificate as applicable

Responsibilities

• Upsell games by showing guests game operations and encouraging participation
• Maintain cleanliness and full operation of games and stations; assist with restocking
• Answer guest inquiries and provide knowledge of pricing for events and promotions
• Create a fun, playful environment and deliver an exceptional guest experience

What you will do:

Hourly Amusement Host Our Amusement Hosts are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. The Amusement Host operates all major attractions and is an expert on gaming within the facility and can help answer and/or curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non-experienced gamers. If you thrive in an energetic, fast-paced and social atmosphere, this may be the opportunity for you! In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them. Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well-maintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store. Being a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.

Qualifications:

• For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
• You preferably have some experience with customer service
• You can complete tasks with attention to detail
• You have strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
