Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP is seeking an Hourly Restaurant Amusement Service Supervisor to join our Vaughan location. The role focuses on executing programs, supporting operations, and coaching a team to maintain high quality service and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include managing groups and events, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining game and retail operations, and driving sales within budget while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in the food service, retail or amusement industry.

• Deliver employee training and development for assigned area of responsibility.

What you will do: Our Hourly Restaurant Amusement Service Supervisors are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional experience to each and every guest. The Hourly Restaurant Amusement Service Supervisor executes all company programs, supports the operation of the business, maintains revenue and payroll budgets, and meets budgeted productivity while keeping quality and service consistently high. It is important for the Hourly Restaurant Amusement Service Supervisor to have both a vision and the ability to maintain a culture of hospitality and positive morale, and a focus on building their team complement through regular coaching and feedback. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for executing Groups & Events within venue, providing seamless guest service.
• Understand and effectively follow all Playidum values, policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining the seamless operation of all games, coat check and retail operation within the Playidium.
• Strive to achieve sales targets while adhering to an established budget during day-to-day operations.
• Ensure that the facility consistently meets the Playdium and legislative cleanliness and safety standards; this includes regular monitoring of all guest facing areas.
• Deliver employee training and development for assigned area of responsibility
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• This role may be a perfect fit for you if:
• You have 1-3 years of supervisory experience in the food service, retail and / or amusement industry.
• You are able to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, as required.
• You have excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• You have the ability to supervise employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
• You are able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
