Job summary

Larian Studios is seeking a Game Engine QA to join our award-winning team. You will perform manual tests, support the programming team, and contribute to automated test suites to ensure the highest quality for our RPG titles.

You will collaborate with a global, experienced group across multiple studios and help refine production pipelines, tools, and debugging processes while maintaining excellent English communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming and/or scripting.
• Familiarity with game engines.
• Background using Perforce or other version control systems.
• Good judgment in estimating bugs.
• Rigorous, methodical work approach.
• Self-discipline with strong self-learning skills.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all kinds of manual testing.
• Assist programming team by testing changes before submission to main branches.
• Write and maintain automated tests (Python/Pytest and Lua).
• Follow priorities set by QA Lead to meet team goals.
• Test and improve production pipelines and tools.
• Be the first point of contact for production on technical issues.
