RBC Capital Markets in Toronto is seeking an Analyst for the Middle Office Trade Support team within Operational Services. You will assist in booking, verifying, and processing FX trades, gaining broad exposure to capital markets operations and post-trade processes.

Your role involves daily reconciliations, exception handling, and collaboration with Sales and Trading desks to ensure accurate, timely processing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• 1–2 years in Middle Office/Operations preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with FX products and post-trade processes is beneficial; willing to learn.

Responsabilités

• Support the booking and verification of FX trades including spot, forwards, and swaps in booking systems.
• Perform daily reconciliations across internal and external systems to maintain data integrity.
• Process post-trade events, compressions, and backloads as requested.
• Assist in timely clearing of transactions within regulatory timeframes and reporting obligations.
• Manage exception queues to ensure smooth trade flow with internal systems and counterparties.
• Run daily controls to verify accurate trade booking and processing with regulatory deadlines.
• Support Sales and Trading desks and external clients via face-to-face, phone, email, Webex, and Bloomberg Chat; collaborate with Senior Associate.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing and process improvement initiatives.
