Source Office Furniture & Systems Ltd. in Burnaby is seeking a Furniture Installer to assemble and install office furniture at client locations and in-showroom setups. The role requires manual handling, use of hand and power tools, and travel to various sites.

Full-time, unionized position with UFCW membership required. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, perform installations, service calls, and showroom setups, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and organize
• Ability to lift 50-100lbs
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• 1–2 years of experience installing, assembling and repairing products using hand and power tools and industrial saw table
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude and ability to follow directions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including accurate paperwork
• Clean Driver’s Abstract; insurance approval required
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

About The Role

Source Office Furnishings is seeking applications from qualified tool-savvy individuals with great customer service skills for the position of Furniture Installer based out of Burnaby store location. This is a full-time, unionized position, requiring membership in the UFCW.

The Furniture Installer is responsible for the assembly of office furniture both within the company and at customer locations. You may also be responsible for providing service calls to customers. To ensure an efficient installation of items, you will be required to use a variety of hand tools.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and occasional Saturday shifts or overtime as required.
