Leon’s Furniture seeks a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to safely load, transport, and deliver heavy furnishings to customers’ homes. You will handle a 5-ton truck, assist with setup, and ensure a positive delivery experience.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills, with opportunities to grow within a Canadian company with coast-to-coast presence.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license.
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck.
• Ability to handle heavy goods and provide a safe, efficient delivery experience.
• Experience delivering furniture/appliances is beneficial.
• Positive attitude, integrity and desire to succeed.
• Lifelong learning and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience
• Performing various other duties, as assigned
