Job summary

Leon’s Furniture in Canada is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to load, transport and deliver furniture with care, ensuring a positive customer experience.

You will handle heavy cargo, assemble some items, and join a team renowned for reliability and service. A clean driving record and a customer-focused attitude are essential, with opportunities for professional growth across coast-to-coast locations.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and a valid non-probationary driver's license.
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck is required.
• Ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to customers.
• Positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Prior delivery furniture/appliances is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers' homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience
• Performing various other duties, as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck

Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers' homes (beneficial)
• Your positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
