Job summary

CI Financial seeks a detail-oriented Manager, Fund Taxation to support tax operations across CI’s investment products in Canada. You will ensure accurate tax reporting and CRA compliance for mutual funds and ETFs, working with Legal, Product, Operations, and Client Services teams.

The role follows an in-office work model, requiring onsite four days per week. A base salary range of CAD 69,500 to CAD 119,500 is provided, with a bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in fund taxation, accounting, or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and Canadian tax reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual fund tax distributions and allocations.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of fund tax returns (T3, T5, NR4).
• Support cross-functional teams on tax-related inquiries and product initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and liaise with external tax advisors and custodians.
