Working closely with the Senior Fund Development Officer, the Coordinator provides day-to-day support across donor management and stewardship, fundraising campaigns and events, grants and sponsorships. A key focus of the role is maintaining accurate donor, gift, and grant information in our CRM (HubSpot) while keeping fund development processes clearly documented.

Priorities shift throughout the year according to the ACC’s Fund Development Plan and annual fundraising calendar. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys building smooth processes, and wants to contribute to Canada’s mountain community.

This is a part-time, hybrid position. You’ll work mostly remotely and join the team in person at our Canmore office one day each week.

The details

  • Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility in when those hours are worked.

  • Location: Hybrid workflow. Remote work, plus some in-person at our Canmore office, minimum once a week along with special events.

  • Start date: November 9, 2026

Perks

  • ACC membership

  • Access to hut bookings

  • The potential to move into a full-time role with additional perks after six months, based on organizational needs

What you’ll do

CRM and Data Management

  • Enter and maintain donation, grant, donor, and prospect records in HubSpot, collaborating with Finance to ensure records reconcile.

  • Keep relationship activity, and segments up to date, and prepare routine fundraising reports.

Donor Recognition and Stewardship

  • Coordinate timely donor acknowledgements, tax receipts, recognition, and routine donor communications.

  • Support stewardship activities that keep donors and donor prospects connected to the ACC.

Events

  • Help plan and deliver fundraising and donor events, supporting invitations, logistics, guest tracking, and follow-up.

  • Coordinate the annual Summit Bid online auction.

Grants

  • Research grant opportunities and prepare smaller and recurring applications (reviewed and approved by the Senior Fund Development Officer).

  • Maintain the grants calendar, compile supporting documentation, and track reporting deadlines for awarded grants.

Additional Duties

Depending on priorities throughout the year, you may also assist with:

  • Donor Meeting Support: Assist with prospect research, meeting briefings, scheduling, and follow-up tracking in HubSpot.
