Job summary

Dream Unlimited, a leading Canadian real estate investment, development and management company, is seeking a Manager, Fund Accounting in Toronto. The role reports to the CFO and oversees private equity fund valuations, fee computations, accruals, income allocations and returns calculations.

You will work with auditors and fund managers, review NAV packages, support annual audits and assist with new fund launches, while ensuring timely client and internal inquiries.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a professional designation (CGA/CMA/CA/CPA/CFA).
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience.
• Experience with private real estate and credit funds (NCREIF/ILPA reporting preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund shadow records and NAV packages.
• Review external administrator NAV and fund accounts.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages and marketing decks with portfolio team.
• Interpret fund documents and ensure timely client and audit responses.
• Coordinate US tax reporting with tax accountants.
• Support onboarding of new clients and new fund launches.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and staff workloads as needed.
