The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members for our Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration services for our clients' hedge and private equity funds. As a Fund Accountant, you will serve as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers and act as the official record keeper for the funds.
Utilize your accounting skills to price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using various external pricing resources. Perform reconciliations related to Net Asset Values and prepare accounting reports. Communicate transactions associated with the funds and collaborate with internal and external clients to deliver accurate accounting packages.
Support year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP standards as the record keeper for the fund. Conduct due diligence to ensure client compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Engage with external investment managers regarding fund inquiries such as fee payments, cash position breaks, and reconciliations. Maintain a focus on client engagement and quality service.
Participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions to acquire new skills, identify process improvements, and grow your career while working with a diverse team.
BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Internship experience preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple client deliverables with high quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, primarily supporting clients via email and phone.
Excellent customer service skills for daily communication with internal and external clients.
A desire to expand knowledge of the financial services industry through learning and applying new concepts.
Flexibility and collaboration skills to adapt to changing client needs.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail to identify solutions and improve processes.

The base salary range for this role is $68,950 - $83,000 per year.
