Job summary

Spirit Omega Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to lead finance projects. You will implement SAP FI configurations, analyze business processes, and support SAP S/4HANA deployments while coordinating with stakeholders and project teams.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on SAP FI experience, strong testing skills, and ability to convert requirements into functional designs. Remote work options exist alongside on-site collaboration in Canada.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on SAP FI experience in SAP Finance.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI configurations and business process analysis.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and production support.
• FI-SD integration experience.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications for enhancements and change requests.
• Experience converting business requirements into functional/high-level designs.
• Strong testing experience including test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Experience with scheduling and monitoring batch jobs.
• Hands-on production support experience and client-facing consulting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance, including SAP S/4HANA implementations and production support. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP FI configurations, business process analysis, FI-SD integration, functional design, testing, and client-facing consulting.

• The role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI basics, configurations, transactions, tables, and reports.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Expertise in:

• New GL
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting

• Strong FI-SD integration experience.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications for enhancements and change requests.
• Experience converting business requirements into functional and high-level technical designs.
• Strong testing experience including preparation of test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
