Securiguard is hiring a full-time security guard in Prince Rupert!

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team in a specialized environment, offering competitive pay and rotational shifts.

Hours of Work:

4-on / 4-off rotation | Night shift (18:15 - 07:45)

Pay Rate:

$20/hour + daily OT/DT

Worksite:

Barge-based; transportation via water shuttle (included in shift time)

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service to clients and guests
• Responding to incidents and emergencies following protocol
• Access control at terminals and project sites
• Patrolling designated areas
• Radio check-ins and report writing
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards
• Maintaining visual security presence to deter unauthorized persons
• Coordinating with police and emergency personnel when needed
• Reporting security breaches
• Performing site duties as per client SOPs
• Keeping detailed notes in company-issued notebooks
• Frequent activity reporting during shifts

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to write clear incident reports
• High attention to detail and observational skills
• Comfortable commuting via water shuttle (travel time included)
• Reliable transportation to shuttle point in Prince Rupert
• Availability for 4-on / 4-off night shifts
