Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use telecommunications (two-way radio, cell phone, paging systems) and enforce regulations.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Manage Access Control and monitor entry points.
• Maintain order and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency procedures.
• Monitor security cameras and operate control room equipment.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter theft and vandalism.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Report writing and documentation.

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-Time Security Guard in Calgary, Alberta.

Schedule

• FULL-TIME
• MORNING (6:00 AM TO 2:00 PM)
• AFTERNOON (2:00 PM TO 10:00 PM)
• Must be available for weekends as well.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Access Control.
• Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrolling.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

Qualifications, Required Licence, Or Certification

• Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
