Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Full-Time Security Dispatcher Security Guard in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will manage dispatch communications, coordinate resources, and act as a liaison between clients and on-site staff to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role includes a 6-on/6-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, transportation provided, and GardaWorld Academy training to support career growth. Alberta security license required and ability to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Alberta security license.
• First aid certification.
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation).
• Clean Driver Abstract.
• Pass a drug test 8 panel.
• Clean shaven for an N95 Fit mask.
• Wildlife Awareness
• Wildlife Intermediate
• Field Ergonomics
• OHS Legislation Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee communications in selected geographic areas.
• Confer with customers or employees in a supervisory capacity.
• Receive or prepare work instructions and establish priorities.
• Record and maintain data and dispatch information.
• Notify staff of road or traffic problems.
• Organize the allocation of resources in an efficient manner.
