Job summary

Mosquito Grizzly Bears Head Leanman First Nation is seeking a Full-Time Janitor to provide custodial services for the School. You will perform daily cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, bathroom sanitation, restocking supplies, dusting, washing walls/windows, and reporting maintenance needs to your supervisor. This role requires reliability and a willingness to learn additional custodial duties.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must have a valid class 5 driver1 license.
• Punctual and reliable.
• First Aid/CPR C; WHMIS training available.
• Must be willing to learn additional custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and wash all floors as required.
• Remove garbage to a central place for disposal.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilets, sinks, floor and walls).
• Ensure continued supply of bathroom accessories (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and deodorizer).
• Dust ledges and other cabinetry and equipment.
• Wash walls and windows.
• Report maintenance problems or required supplies to the direct supervisor.
