Job summary

Mosquito Grizzly Bears Head Leanman First Nation is seeking a Full-Time Public Works Receptionist to support the Operations and Maintenance Department. You will manage front-desk duties, handle correspondence, and keep records up to date for informed decision-making.

The role requires Grade 12 and strong time management; you will answer calls, direct visitors, maintain staff contact information, and assist with general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls & directing them to the proper individual
  • Maintain an accurate contact database for staff
  • Direct any visitors or meeting attendees to the appropriate staff
  • Ensure knowledge of all staff's whereabouts on a day-to-day basis
  • Receive, record and process incoming and outgoing mail for the staff
  • Order office and cleaning supplies as required
  • Assist duties such as typing word processing and filing, etc., as time permits to return.
  • Conduct any other relevant activities as requested by the Manager.

Through the support of the Public Works departments' administrative requirements, maintaining files, and ensuring the Manager of Public Works has accurate and up-to-date information for their decision-making.
