Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking an Overnight Team Member to prepare, present and serve meals and beverages, ensuring quality, accuracy and appealing presentation. The role includes thorough cleaning and sanitation of equipment, workstations and the store.

Must be available to work 10pm to 7am and to contribute to stock, maintenance and ensuring the location is clean, safe and ready for the next day’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests with hospitality through friendly attitude and strong product knowledge.
• Prepare beverages according to standards including marking lids and pots.
• Prepare bagels, wraps, and sandwiches following proper builds with food safety.
• Operate ovens/egg cookers and prepare baked products such as muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages.
• Ensure all showcase specifications are met.
• Cleaning of the production area and back-of-house area daily.
• Receive and store inventory during delivery and stock FOH daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Restaurant interior, exterior, parking lot, dining room and restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment each shift.
• Maintain speed of service by working efficiently to fill orders and meet guests’ needs.
• Promptly execute service recovery for guest concerns or complaints.

Job Summary

The Overnight Team Member will be responsible for preparing, presenting and serving meals, drinks, ensuring the quality of the food and overall presentation. Overnight team members share these responsibilities and are additionally responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitation of equipment, workstations and the overall store. During periods when customers are not being served, overnight team members are expected to focus on cleaning, stocking, organizing, and completing assigned maintenance tasks to ensure the location is clean, safe, and fully prepared for the next day’s operations.

• Prepare different types of beverages according to standards including marking lids and pots.


• Prepare food items such as bagels, wraps, sandwiches following proper builds as well as maintaining food safety standards.


• Operate ovens/egg cookers and prepare baked products as assigned such as muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages, etc.


• Ensure all showcase specifications are met.

The hourly wage for this position is $17.95 per hour. Team members working overnight shifts are eligible for an overnight premium of $1.00 per hour, bringing the total hourly rate to $18.95 per hour.

We are committed to offering competitive compensation and complying with all applicable pay transparency legislation. In addition, employees who maintain an average of 26 hours per week for six months may become eligible for company benefits, in accordance with plan eligibility requirements.
