Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a full-time overnight position at our distribution center in Ontario. The role emphasizes vigilance, threat detection, and detailed incident reporting across security operations, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses.

The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in Canada, hold an Ontario security license, and possess First Aid/CPR Level C certification.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• Must have WSIB approved First Aid and CPR Level C
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
