Dr Bishop & Associates is a thriving independent optometry practice with four dispensing locations across Calgary: Legacy Township, Willow Park Village, Beacon Hill, and Northgate Village. Our newly built offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offer a wide range of services to our patients. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and service to our community.

Position: Full Time Optometrist – or 3 -4 days a week minimum (Experienced or New Graduates)

Schedule: Open 6 days a week, closed on holidays with no late nights

Responsibilities:

1. Perform comprehensive eye exams utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment.
2. Prescribe appropriate eyewear, contact lenses, dry eye, and other vision correction solutions. Collaborate with our trained staff who conduct pre-testing procedures.
3. Utilize electronic phoropters and Visual Eyes (VE) operating system for seamless integration of patient data.
4. Provide expert advice on lens options, including Myopia Management solutions.
5. Provide advice and prescribe Dry Eye and AMO Treatments including the latest advanced technology.
6. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
