Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Kitchener, ON is seeking a Machine Operator to monitor packaging lines, fill feeders, and perform quality checks. This full-time role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and a steady workflow in a high-production environment.

You will read and follow instructions in English, collaborate with maintenance and production teams, and respond quickly to equipment issues. Shift runs 10:30 PM–6:30 AM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Shift flexibility for 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor packaging equipment to maintain line speed and controls.
• Fill feeders and maintain levels, ensure proper materials are available.
• Perform pre-operation checklist and communicate with supervisor.
• Report equipment problems to maintenance for troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with crew leaders to ensure orders complete on schedule.
