Job summary

Giant Tiger in Boisbriand, QC, is seeking a Head Cashier for a full-time role to lead the checkout team and ensure smooth customer service. The position includes supervising cashiers and enforcing store policies in a dynamic retail environment.

If you have strong communication skills, supervisory experience, and at least one year in retail, you will train cashiers, manage opening/closing shifts, and uphold health, safety, and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Train all cashiers on POS, customer service, and checkout procedures.
• Oversee ordering and replenishment of checkout merchandise, including tobacco and lottery.
• Open and close the store on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with all checkout policies daily.
• Maintain health and safety policies and a clean checkout area.
• Apply loss prevention best practices.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly.
