M. Davis Landscaping & Design is seeking a reliable full-time General Equipment Operator Labourer for a hybrid role in Ontario.

The position supports both equipment operation and labour duties, with priorities on safe, high-quality landscape work for residential and commercial sites across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Applicants should have 1–3 years of equipment operation experience, be punctual, and able to work with deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years experience operating equipment.
• Ability to operate skid steer, excavator, backhoe and loader.
• Perform labourer duties when equipment isn’t needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual and reliable; team player on labour crew.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets Canadian Landscape Standards.
• Assist foreman with daily tasks and quality activities.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections for all equipment via mobile device.
• Read and understand Utility Locates.
