Job Overview

Keyholders help ensure consistent store execution, enabling us to spend meaningful time with our customers. They recommend the best products and services to promote healthy, playful pets. They share accountability for driving profit to support our growth and future as the Devoted Pet Lover’s life-cycle partner. The Keyholder assists with all store operations and represents their store in the community. They prioritize Safety, Compassion, Expertise, and Efficiency, living by and coaching to our Core Beliefs.

This position pays $17.90 hourly.

What You Do
  • Cashier and customer sales
  • Preparing merchandise orders, banking, and miscellaneous paperwork
  • Placing small items (under 10 lbs) including pet supplies and household items into stock
  • Store maintenance such as sweeping and dusting
  • Unloading deliveries of pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs.) and stocking them
  • Opening and closing the store following company procedures
  • Assigning daily goals and tasks in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Performing other duties as required
What You Bring
  • At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of POS systems
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to the store
  • A valid driver’s license may be required
  • Previous Key Holder experience is an asset
