Job summary

Manjot Mander in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Home Support Worker to provide bedside and personal care to clients in their homes. The selected candidate will be expected to start work promptly and work in a permanent, full-time capacity with a variety of shifts including Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning.

The position offers compensation at $23.50 per hour for 40 hours per week, with a smoke-free work environment and opportunity to assist clients in maintaining daily living

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Secondary graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience is an asset.
• Fluency in Panjabi is an asset.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and personal care.
• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene.
• Assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• Feed or assist in feeding.
• Mend clothing and linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide personal care.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals.
