The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking an Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE, Permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week) to support students across classrooms and learning settings. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to foster academic progress, behavior, social and life skills development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Position requires a university degree or a two-year college diploma in human services, plus Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training

• Provide support to students across academic, behavioral, social, life skills and co-op contexts.
• Assist with toileting, lifting, transferring, positioning and mobility as required.
• Rotate through the school to meet student needs in multiple groupings and grade levels.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
