Job summary

The YMCA of Three Rivers is hiring an Early Years Educator for Waterloo Region. You will plan and implement a child-centred program following our curricula for 0-6 year olds and 6-12 year olds, while supporting families and the community.

As a full-time role, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive environment with opportunities for professional development and a focus on well-being and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C before start date.
• Up-to-date immunizations as required by Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality compassionate care to children and families.
• Build positive relationships with children and communicate progress to families.
• Be a creative play partner who engages children and supports learning.
• Ensure supervision and safety per provincial and YMCA policies.
• Observe and document children's development and interactions.
• Attend curriculum training and maintain qualifications as required.
