Job Description

The Daycare at The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a licensed centre serving skier families and recreationists worldwide. The primary role of a Daycare Attendant is to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for children, building respectful relationships with families, and maintaining clean, safe facilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement activities to meet children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and facilities
  • Familiarize with emergency procedures
  • Supervise children at all times
  • Prepare nutritious snacks and lunches
  • Build good relations with families
  • Communicate effectively with children

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification
  • Experience in Childcare and Early Education
  • International applicants must provide proof of Canadian medical clearance
  • First Aid certification
  • Strong communication skills, tact, and professionalism
  • Ability to remain calm and work efficiently independently or in a team
  • Energetic, resourceful, friendly
  • Cash handling experience
  • Second language skills are an asset
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check required
