Job summary

Zohorecruit in Mississauga, Canada is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development professional to lead training, development, and culture initiatives. You will design programs, deliver in-person and virtual sessions, and ensure training aligns with business goals.

Key duties include managing the People Development Program, coaching staff, handling customer relations escalations, and overseeing staff performance and engagement while reporting on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years retail experience.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Ability to effectively teach/develop others to the next level.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact and communicate with people clearly without personal bias.

Responsibilities

• Update and organize training policies and procedures for training, development and culture.
• Assess organizational training needs via surveys and interviews.
• Develop training plans and materials to fulfill specific needs.
• Host and facilitate training groups in various formats (in person, virtual, video).
• Ensure compliance training needs are met.
• Manage the People Development Program and maintain content.
• Support events, sponsorships and projects within the community.
• Lead the Culture Committee and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Respond to escalated customer inquiries online and by phone.
• Lead staff through training, support, motivation and duties, and handle suggestions or concerns.
• Provide leadership for people development administration and reporting.
