Mecka; Richmond Hill; On-site; CAD 214,000 - 285,000; Full time

Job summary

Mecka is hiring a Software Developer to build end‑to‑end internal products and tooling that turn the ego-data pipeline into fast, reliable dataset deliveries for frontier AI labs. You’ll own surfaces from UI to data, ship a first version quickly, and iterate with the people using it.

You’ll cover internal tools—UI reviews, dashboards, data viewers, and the data plumbing underneath—while collaborating with Delivery Operations to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building software as a full-stack or product engineer (or equivalent impact) — owning a feature from UI to data.
• Fluent in a modern front-end stack (TypeScript/React) and at least one backend language (Python, Node, Go).
• Demonstrated 0→1 builder who ships usable tools with strong ownership and bias to ship.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal products our teams use daily—dataset review/QA interfaces, delivery dashboards, data viewers, and the workflows that connect them—owning UI and logic.
• Turn one-off scripts into real tools with usable interfaces so delivery, sales, labeling, and QA move faster without babysitting.
• Take fuzzy problems from conversation to shipped v1 quickly and iterate with real users across internal teams and AI-lab customers.
