Full-Stack Software Developer AI/ML Platform

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full-stack software engineer to develop our next-generation AI/ML platform used in the development of Autodesk’s suite of products and services. Join our rapidly expanding team to help build innovative capabilities that enable faster and more secure development of machine learning and generative AI solutions, enhancing Autodesk software products and services. You will collaborate with research and product engineering teams across various domains to deliver a platform supporting the entire AI/ML development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications for internal AI/ML workflows, including front-end interfaces (React, Angular, or Vue) and back-end services (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.)
• Implement scalable APIs and microservices to manage large data volumes and interact with data pipelines, model-training systems, and analytics dashboards
• Collaborate with data scientists and DevOps teams to integrate ML models into production, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes
• Optimize platform performance and security by applying best practices for data handling, authentication, authorization, and monitoring
• Contribute to platform architecture and technical strategy, working cross-functionally to define requirements, evaluate new technologies, and drive continuous improvements

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Over 3 years of experience in front-end software development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte) and state management libraries (Redux, Vuex)
• Ability to integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs, understanding asynchronous requests, AJAX
• Proficiency with Git for version control
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine) and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools)
• Familiarity with design/prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Jira)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
• Portfolio of previous UI/UX designs with real users
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservice architecture on Kubernetes
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
