Job summary

IcePanel is seeking an experienced software engineer to own end-to-end features across frontend and backend in a hybrid North Vancouver setting. You’ll work with a small, skilled team to ship polished software for architecture modelling, focusing on performance and user experience.

You’ll contribute across the stack (UI/UX, APIs, real-time systems) and help evolve the platform with thoughtful data models, migrations, and tooling, while enjoying stock options and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience across large companies and startups.
• Strong in both frontend and backend development.
• Built things you’re genuinely proud of.
• Care deeply about how things look and feel, not just that they work.
• Take ownership and don’t wait for permission.
• Able to work across a large, evolving codebase.
• Open to feedback and adjust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend UI/UX in collaboration with design.
• Build backend APIs and data models.
• Work with real-time systems (WebSockets).
• Handle infrastructure and migrations.
• Fix, refine, and improve existing code and features.
