Job summary

Citylitics Inc. is seeking a full stack developer to modernize a Django + React web app and pay down tech debt on a live, actively shipping codebase. You will also ship smaller, self-contained solutions directly to customers, owning delivery end-to-end.

Expect depth in Django/DRF or React/TypeScript with strong competence in the other, and maintain AI-assisted workflows. The role emphasizes cloud deployment, data-driven decision making, and collaborative development within a Toronto-based hybrid

Qualifications

3-5 years building and maintaining production web apps with Django/DRF or React/TS, with depth in one and working competence in the other.
AI-assisted development workflows as a core part of how you ship.
Data-driven problem framing using queries, metrics, and models.

Responsibilities

Design: write design documents and demos to align stakeholders before building.
Data Native: validate datasets with SQL and metrics to ground design decisions.
Modernization: migrate legacy code, upgrade frameworks, and decompose modules while shipping features.
