Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. in Montreal is seeking an accomplished Full Stack Developer with strong Python and React experience to join the Resilience Technology team. You will design, develop, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You will leverage GenAI tools, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to automated testing and code quality. The role requires 7–10+ years Python, 5+ years React, and a solid background in databases, OOP, Linux, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of Python development experience.
• 5+ years of React UI/UX implementation experience.

Resilience Technology Team Overview:

Responsible for enhancing portfolio of technology capabilities for Firm Resilience and Fusion Response & Recovery systems with more automated features. This ecosystem supports critical functions across the Resilience landscape related to Planning, Scenario Testing, Response and Recovery of critical business process that might be impacted from incidents of varying nature. These initiatives are complex, high-profile programs driven by regulatory requirements and vital production deliverables in 2026 and beyond.

We are seeking an accomplished Full Stack Developer with expertise in GenAI technologies to join the Resilience Technology team and drive key initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and React within a dynamic, agile team.

Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.

Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Participate in scrum meetings, report on project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.

Learn and apply ***’s proprietary frameworks and best practices.

Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.

Respond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

Python: 7-10+ years of hands‑on experience. Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.

React: 5+ years of UI/UX implementation experience.

GenAI: Experience with Generative AI technologies and coding assistants.

Databases: Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.

OOP & Design Patterns: Strong grasp and practical use during development.

Linux/Unix & Shell Scripting: Solid working knowledge.

Analytical Skills: Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.

Teamwork & Communication: Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.

Testing: Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components.

Skills & Experience Desired:

Advanced database skills, including PL/SQL and query optimization.

Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.

Familiarity with Layered and Component-based Architecture.

Scripting expertise in Python, Perl, or Unix shell.

Exposure to various application types: web, batch, and streaming.

Experience working in global Agile Scrum teams.
