Job summary

Astek Montreal is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and React in an agile team. You will leverage GenAI tools to accelerate delivery and ensure high quality.

Collaborate with global teams to translate business needs into robust systems, participate in Scrum, write thorough unit tests, and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. This is a full-time role based in Montreal with opportunities to impact multiple domains.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• 5+ years of React UI/UX implementation experience.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies and coding assistants.
• Proficiency in RDBMS/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong grasp of OOP and design patterns.

• Python: 7-10+ years of hands-on experience. Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.

• Databases: Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.
• OOP & Design Patterns: Strong grasp and practical use during development.
