Job summary

Techedin is hiring a Software Developer on a T4 Contract in Toronto, offering a hybrid arrangement (3 days remote). The role requires 5+ years of experience and a strong command of modern web technologies.

You will design, implement, test, and maintain secure software, build web-based cross-platform solutions, and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions. Collaboration with engineers, QA, and designers across locations is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow.
• Hands-on experience with React and Redux frameworks.
• Experience working with Node.js and NPM.
• Experience with web-based technologies, concepts, and development constructs.
• Strong interest in software architecture and design.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for source control.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and cross-functional teams.
