Role: The Full-stack Developer reports to the Manager, Product Development, and collaborates with Developers, Business Analysts, QA Specialists, and the Release Coordinator. Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.

Below is a brief description of the product:

Equisoft/LifeGuide is a multi-carrier insurance quote tool for financial advisors, streamlining insurance product comparisons from various carriers, enabling accurate, tailored client recommendations with up-to-date information and comprehensive product details.

Your Day with Equisoft:

• Design and implement new functionalities, enhance architecture, write robust, high-performance, secure code.
• Review colleagues’ code and provide feedback.
• Participate in agile meetings and contribute opinions.
• Analyze functionalities and technological solutions based on business needs.
• Engage in continuous deployment following DevOps practices.
• Contribute to testing and documentation of applications.
• Ensure quality through testing scenarios.
• Maintain applications and functionalities.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve customer issues.

Requirements:

Technical

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or College Diploma with 3+ years relevant experience.
• 5-7 years experience as an application developer.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Python.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Development, SOLID principles, unit testing, TDD, Agile, security challenges.
• Experience with complex software problems and analyses.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
