You will partner with Product Owners, UX Designers and Solution Architects to design practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional full stack development experience with high-data-volume applications.
• Experience with Next.js and TypeScript including version upgrades.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL for PostgreSQL/BigQuery, ORM data access.
• Ability to identify and remediate Next.js and Docker vulnerabilities in production.

As a Full Stack Developer II, Software Engineering on the Data Management team, you will build and maintain high-data-volume applications that solve real business problems and improve how teams work. You will partner closely with Product Owners, UX Designers and Solution Architects to understand the root problem, design practical solutions and deliver them end to end.

This is a hands-on full stack role with responsibility for development, testing, production support, security remediation and ongoing application improvements.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and enhance high-data-volume web applications using Next.js and TypeScript, taking features from problem discovery through design, development, testing and production delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners, UX Designers and Solution Architects to understand business needs and root causes, challenge symptom-based solutions, and deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL for transactional and analytical workloads, maintain database integrations using PostgreSQL and BigQuery, and use Prisma, Drizzle or comparable ORM/database technologies for application data access and updates.
• Own application quality and reliability through code reviews, unit and integration testing, debugging, front-end performance optimization, production incident troubleshooting and ongoing application maintenance.
• Identify, assess and remediate application and dependency vulnerabilities, including Next.js and Docker vulnerabilities, and support framework/version upgrades and secure engineering practices across the application lifecycle.

What You Bring:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of professional full stack development experience, including 5+ years working with high-data-volume applications.
• Production hands-on experience with Next.js and intermediate-level TypeScript, including maintaining applications and supporting Next.js version upgrades; strong understanding of front-end performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries using PostgreSQL or BigQuery; experience with PostgreSQL 16 is relevant to our environment. Experience with Prisma, Drizzle or another ORM/database technology is valuable.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and remediate Next.js and Docker vulnerabilities, troubleshoot production issues, maintain applications, and collaborate effectively in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead stakeholder demos. Nice to have: Python, Kubernetes deployments, GitLab CI/CD, GCP and Carbon Design System experience.
