Job summary

Alithya Canada Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and enhance complex application solutions in a Montreal-based role.

You will work with analysts and clients to translate business needs into IT solutions, estimate work for the delivery manager, and write analyses and test plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with QA, documentation upkeep, proactive monitoring, and mentoring less experienced developers.

Qualifications

• Diploma of college studies (DCS) or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• French: Advanced.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex application solutions;
• Participate in meetings with analysts and clients, then translate business needs into IT solutions;
• Estimate and communicate the work to be done to the delivery manager;
• Write functional and organic analyses;
• Define test plans;
• Participate in writing production deployment instructions;
• Assist the quality assurance team during testing and keep documentation up to date;
• Perform proactive monitoring of applications to propose improvements;
• Document the knowledge base of development tools and environments;
• Participate in the training and development of less experienced programmer analysts.
