Job summary

Aplin is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based web applications. Remote work with occasional on-site Edmonton presence is possible.

You'll contribute across the stack, implement AWS serverless and microservices patterns, develop RESTful APIs, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines in an agile team. Strong expertise in C#/Java and modern frontend (Angular/React) is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years with C# and/or Java.
• 3+ years building AWS cloud solutions.
• 3+ years developing web apps with Angular or React (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong API design, performance, and secure coding practices.
• Nice to have: serverless AWS, microservices, NoSQL (DynamoDB), state management tools.

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help build and enhance modern, cloud based web applications that support large scale digital services. This is a contract opportunity where you will contribute across the stack, collaborate in an agile delivery team, and help deliver reliable, user friendly solutions that can handle real world demand. The work is primarily remote, with occasional on site needs in Edmonton, AB discussed in advance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack features for web applications in an agile environment

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with 7+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of software development experience using C# and or Java
• 3+ years building solutions on AWS (cloud development projects)
• 3+ years developing and deploying web apps using Angular and or React (plus JavaScript TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS)
• Experience with automated testing and modern development workflows (Git, CI CD)
• Strong understanding of API design, performance, and secure software practices
• Nice to have: serverless AWS and microservices patterns, NoSQL databases (for example DynamoDB), state management tools (NgRx, NGXS, Redux), experience on large enterprise platforms, familiarity with AI assisted development approaches
