Job summary

RBC is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work on both front-end and back-end components using Angular, Java Spring Boot, and Python in a Wealth Management context.

You will collaborate in an Agile team, write comprehensive tests, and contribute to high-quality software delivery. The role includes on-site work in Toronto with a focus on asset management-related platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular and modern front-end technologies.
• Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Professional experience using Python for backend development or automation.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including complex SQL query development.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Front-end development - Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Back-end development - Design and maintain server-side logic, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot.
• Python development - Develop backend services, data processing scripts, and automation tools using Python.

What you need to succeed? Must have:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience
• Front-End: Strong expertise in Angular and modern front-end technologies
• Back-End: Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Python: Professional experience using Python for backend development or automation
• Database: Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including complex SQL query development

Nice to have:
