Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, build and deploy scalable features for trading partners.

You will lead technical initiatives and collaborate across teams to improve software engineering practices, tests and production readiness. Applicants should have 5+ years in software development, strong Java (10+), Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs and AI experience, plus hands-on Apache Maven and Git/Gitflow.

Qualifications

• Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, software development or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in micro-services architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Demonstrate experience in Agile development.
• Experience in AI.
• Proficient in Java (version 10 or higher).
• Master Apache Maven.
• Use Git/Gitflow tools effectively.
• Use Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence in a software development context.
• Design, optimize and put into production software solutions.

Profile we are looking for

This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential to understand documentation and ensure professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
