Role Overview:

We're hiring a Content Marketing Manager—a full-stack content creator and strategist responsible for leading our content initiatives from strategy to execution. As our first dedicated content hire, you'll establish our content system, collaborate with various teams, and ensure our content reaches and resonates with our target audience: commercial gym operators in the U.S. and Canada. This is a 100% remote role based in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own the full content lifecycle, from strategy to distribution, building FLiiP's content engine.
  2. Lead content experiments, launching campaigns with hypotheses, measuring results, and iterating quickly.
  3. Create diverse content formats including blog posts, social media, video scripts, customer stories, guides, and emails.
  4. Manage and update our website and blog (WordPress), utilizing HubSpot for forms, automation, and distribution.
  5. Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Descript, and others to scale content production efficiently.
  6. Collaborate with design, growth, product marketing, and sales teams to align messaging and maximize impact.
  7. Identify content gaps and coordinate with freelancers for additional support, maintaining a hands-on creation approach.
  8. Optimize content for SEO, repurpose across channels, and ensure high visibility.
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience in content marketing or creation, preferably in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or startup environment.
  • Proven success in developing and executing growth-supportive content strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple content formats: written, social, email, video.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and HubSpot, including CMS and automation tools.
  • Comfort with AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Notion AI, integrating them into workflows.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating clarity, structure, creativity, and relevance.
  • Proactive, self-managing, and impact-driven work ethic.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across departments and leadership.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience marketing to small business owners or operators (gyms, fitness studios, franchises).
  • Knowledge of performance content and conversion-focused writing.
  • Experience maintaining a consistent brand voice across formats.
