Job summary

Finlink Group is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper / Controller to own the day-to-day accounting for a growing organization in Burlington, Canada. This full-cycle role sits between a senior bookkeeper and controller, handling transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting, remittances, year-end prep, and supporting business decisions.

You'll work closely with leadership, operations and external accountants/auditors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely closes while rolling up your sleeves

Qualifications

• Certified QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advisor is required.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices and controls.
• Experience with managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Manage AP/AR, invoicing and collections.
• Prepare government remittances and payroll deductions.
• Coordinate year-end prep and liaise with external auditors.
