Maple Leaf Foods Inc. Bradford, ON is seeking an FSQA Technician to monitor Food Safety, GMP and HACCP on the production floor and ensure QA standards are met. The role emphasizes initiating corrective actions and escalating FSQA concerns promptly in our fast-paced facility.

You will work Monday–Friday with a 3:00 PM start, supporting continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and quality controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary Education required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is an asset.
• Able to reliably attend scheduled shifts at the Bradford location.
• Ability to stand and work on the production floor for extended periods.
• Ability to wear required PPE in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and other Quality Assurance Program requirements on the production floor.
• Initiate immediate corrective actions and escalate FSQA concerns as needed.
• Respectfully challenge others in a fast-paced manufacturing setting to maintain safety and quality.

FSQA Technician - Bradford, ON

As a member of the facility’s FSQA team, the FSQA Technician spends majority of their time on the production floor monitoring Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and other Quality Assurance Program requirements to ensure they are consistently achieved. Operating with a sense of urgency, the Technician is responsible for initiating immediate corrective actions wherever possible and escalating FSQA concerns as required. The Technician must be comfortable respectfully challenging others in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Essential Qualifications

• Secondary Education
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
