Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program held by an accredited Canadian education institution.
  • Must have a valid Class IV Manitoba driver’s license.
  • Certificate of Practice with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba – Member in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-hospital care as an Emergency Medical Responder or Primary Care Paramedic.
  • Demonstrate adherence to the LEADS framework.
  • Complete a job-related written test of clinical knowledge.

Skills

Experience providing pre-hospital care as an Emergency Medical Responder or Primary Care Paramedic
Competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs
Working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
Experience in patient relations and/or customer service
Use of Shared Health ERS and Digital Health technology
Ability to communicate in multiple languages

Education

Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program
